Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen have finally made their divorce official. After months of speculation and rumors, the NFL power couple will part ways after 13 years of blissful marriage.
The couple put out a statement on social media asking people to respect their privacy in these difficult and painful times. Tom and Gisele have also mutually decided to co-parent their two children, Benjamin and Vivian.
Tom Brady was seen spending the evening with his kids as the Bucs QB took them out for a movie on Friday Night in Hyde Park, California. The seven-time Super Bowl winner is spending the weekend with his kids amidst difficult times for the family.
The children will also have to get used to seeing both their parents separately and will have to get used to this new lifestyle. “He is always happy when he is with his kids,” an insider source stated. “The kids have slowly been getting used to spending separate time with Tom and Gisele. They lived separately for months.”
Tom Brady also has another son, Jack, whom he co-parents with his Ex Bridget Moynahan. Brady’s kids are an important part of his life, and he has always made them his priority.
Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen parted ways due to ‘personal issues’
Tom Brady and Gisele got divorced after 13 years of marriage. The couple was struggling with issues since the start of the season when Brady decided to unretire and join the NFL for one more season.
It is rumored that Gisele didn’t want the Bucs QB to unretire and instead wanted him to spend more time with his family and kids. Gisele also shared her plight in an interview with ELLE magazine.
“Obviously, I have my concerns — this is a very violent sport, and I have my children and I would like him to be more present,” the Brazilian model said. “I have definitely had those conversations with him over and over again.”
“But ultimately, I feel that everybody has to make a decision that works for [them]. He needs to follow his joy, too.” Football is pretty important to Brady, and it’s pretty evident as the QB is still playing at the top level.
Tom Brady and Gisele both have the same goal when it comes to their children and will try their best to give them the best childhood possible.
On a more professional front, Brady is still struggling with the Bucs as they are having their worst season ever since TB12 took over and will face the Rams in their next game of the season.
