Long ago in 2000, way before his journey in the NFL began, Tom Brady found himself among the last-place finishers at the 2000 NFL Scouting Combine for running an infamous 40-yard dash in 5.28 seconds– one of the slowest times. 

Though he ended up becoming a GOAT for his brilliance as a quarterback in the NFL, there was something about his name tagged with “infamous” in the pages of the NFL archives that didn’t sit well with him. That’s why the NFL legend teased his fans about running the 40-yard-dash once again in a recent video, posted on X (formerly Twitter) and asked them for their predictions.

Although Brady didn’t officially announce the news, his tone suggested he sure is preparing for something big. 

The infamous 5.28 seconds didn’t do much harm to Brady’s capabilities, but it reflected that the quarterback had never been known for his speed in the league. 

Even after retirement, the 46-year-old has never compromised his health, and such dedication has kept him in such incredible shape. That’s why if the legendary quarterback considers running the dash again, it sure would be confident enough to redefine his name in sprints.

Apart from exciting news about Brady considering the 40-yard dash, the former NFL quarterback has been quite in the headlines lately. It all begins from earlier this month, when his ex-wife and supermodel Gisele Bundchen’s relationship with her jiu-jitsu instructor, Joaquin Valente came out in public. Ever since her divorce from Brady, this is the first man she is dating.

However, the seven-time Super Bowl champions think otherwise. Though he accepted his ex-wife’s new relationship, he believes he was cheated on. During their divorce, Bundchen had spent a lot of time with Valente, which made Brady doubt but she clarified they’re just friends. 

For the sake of his children, Brady is focusing on finding good in Valente rather than digging dirt on him. And on an additional note, the former Patriots QB as well has moved on, given his new romance with a Russian model, Irina Shayk.
