In a shocking state of affairs, legendary quarterback Tom Brady was handed one of the biggest defeats of his career as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers lost 7-35 in Week 14 to the San Francisco 49ers. Brady led the Bucs’ offense to a very poor outing where they scored just one touchdown throughout the game. Brady completed 34 of 55 passes for just 253 yards, a touchdown, and a pair of interceptions.

At a point in the game, the Bucs were down 0-35 and it looked very embarrassing for Brady, who is regarded as the greatest quarterback of all time.

The 49ers’ quarterback, Brock Purdy, was making his debut for the team as the starting quarterback, and, for the first time in NFL history, Brady lost to a QB who was starting his first NFL game. It was also the first time that an NFL player lost a game to someone who is less than half his age.

After the completion of the first half, the Bucs trailed the 49ers by a mammoth 28 points. Brady was visibly frustrated for handing the opponents a 4-score lead and was seen yelling in agony and frustration. He headed into the locker room at the break in fury.

Things are only meant to get more difficult for the Bucs as the business end of the league approaches. They are currently first in the NFC South division with a 6-7 record and will face the in-form Bengals next. It looks likely that the Bucs will qualify for the playoffs, but the road ahead doesn’t look easy for them at all.
