“What the f**k is wrong with you,” Tom Brady’s warning for franchises who did not want him in 2020 after Patriots spell

Tom Brady is arguably the greatest NFL player of all time and is now all set to extend his footballing career into the 23rd season. The legendary quarterback has 7 Super Bowl titles to his name and is a future Hall of Famer.

Brady had shocked the NFL in February when he announced his retirement from the sport but took it back 40 days later and will once again set foot on the football pitch as a Tampa Bay Buccaneers player.

Despite Tom Brady’s magnanimous stature, the 44-year old too had to wave off bad phases in his career. One such moment came in 2020 when he had just finished his long 20-year stint with his one and only NFL franchise, the New England Patriots. He became a free agent at the time and was having trouble finding himself a new home for the 2020 season.

In the final Man in the Arena episode, Brady revealed how he felt at the time when the franchises did not want him to be their starting quarterback.

“Unless you’ve got one of them, probably top few guys, you know, I would be expecting people to be interested. In my mind, I’m thinking, ‘If you’re another team and you’re not interested in having me as your quarterback, like, what the f— is wrong with you?” – said Brady in the 10th episode of the documentary.

However, just like always, Tom Brady proved his credentials yet again in his first season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the side he joined after the Patriots. He won his 7th Super Bowl title with them and took his Super Bowl appearance tally to an even number 10, to prove his doubters and haters wrong yet again.
