On Sunday, the Kansas City Chiefs led by their star quarterback Patrick Mahomes went against the Buffalo Bills in a highly anticipated week 14 game. During the game, the former Dallas Cowboys quarterback and CBS announcer Tony Romo mistakenly referred to Taylor Swift as Travis Kelce‘s wife on live television.

He quickly realized his mistake and apologized for it immediately. “I’m sorry, girlfriend,” said Romo. The hilarious clip of Tony Romo’s mistake went viral on social media and accumulated more than 408k views on social media within hours. Check out the footage attached below.

The global superstar was seen cheering her boyfriend from the VIP suite at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. She has been a staple in the Chiefs games ever since she started going out with the Chiefs’ All-Pro tight end. The ‘Blank Space’ singer missed a couple of games as she was busy with the international leg of her Eras Tour concert.

On the sporting side of things, Kelce had a great outing on Sunday as he caught 6 passes for 83 yards while averaging 13.8 yards per attempt. He also made a great play to secure a game-winning touchdown, but it was negated due to a controversial offside penalty on the Chiefs’ pass-catcher Kadarius Toney.

As a result, the Chiefs suffered a brutal 20-17 loss against their arch-rivals, Bills. With that loss, the Chiefs fell to an 8-5 record, but they are still holding the No.3 seed in the NFC playoffs picture. Next, they are scheduled to face the struggling New England Patriots in their week 15 matchup this weekend.

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift spent significant time together before going public

Nonetheless, both Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have been spending a lot of time supporting each other work. Swift has attended multiple Chiefs games and Kelce has shown support to his girlfriend by flying all the way to Argentina to attend her concert.
