Some good news for Colorado Buffalo superstar Travis Hunter. The cornerback and wide receiver, who had an energetic season with the Buffs in last year’s college football, got engaged to his long-term girlfriend Leanna Lenne yesterday. The electrifying wide-out shared the pictures of the two on his Instagram account.
Seeing the wideout getting engaged, fans have congratulated him all over social media. They flooded X (formerly known as Twitter) with a lot of reactions.
Despite the failures of the Colorado Buffaloes late in the season, Travis Hunter’s performance was highly celebrated by the fans. He was energetic and gave the team the dream start that they needed. Though the Buffs failed too much after their third consecutive win in the league, the WR finished the season on a good note. He clinched 57 receptions with five touchdowns for 721 receiving yards.
Along with his offensive duties, the WR had a good defensive performance. He led 30 tackles and forced the opponents to have three interceptions against him. He registered the most snaps in the season and won the Paul Hornung Award. His all-round performance in both offense and defense was highly appreciated by the team and the fans.
The Buffs are presently doing hard offseason drills under the HC Deion Sanders. Amid those, the news of Hunter getting engaged generated some moments of celebration in the entire camp.

Hunter recently confirmed that he will be staying with the Colorado Buffaloes for one more season. He will be twinning with Shedeur Sanders in the coming season as well.
After a heinous season in 2022-23, the Buffaloes management decided to give the responsibility of the team to Deion Sanders. Sanders, in his first year, brought all 53 new players to the squad. His team started the journey well with three wins in the first three games. Nonetheless, the Buffaloes lost momentum in the next games and ended up with a 4-8 record at the end of the season.
Despite a poor performance in the latter half of college football, the team garnered some positive points. They had their best records in four years, and in addition, the likes of Shedeur and Hunter impressed the fans. Hunter’s impressive performance compelled the fans to react in an interesting manner to the news of his engagement on social media. Check out some of the comments that they made.
With Sanders and Hunter on their side, the Buffaloes will step into the next season with high hopes. Last month, Hunter had a great day out fishing as he caught a 10-pound bass at Coach Deion Sanders’ private lake.
