Similar to Jason Kelce, his younger brother, Travis Kelce, loves to party. He was going through several emotions during Super Bowl LVIII last Sunday. The Kansas City Chiefs All-Pro tight end lashed out at his head coach, then trolled the 49ers fans after beating their team 25-22.

Three days later, the Chiefs held their victory parade at Union Station. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes made a fool out of a Bills fan while showcasing their latest Lombardi Trophy. The rally ended at the station, and one by one, Chiefs players gave speeches.

When it was Kelce’s turn to thank the fans, he was a bit tipsy. The 34-year-old’s words were slightly jumbled up. It was clear that he had a bit too much to drink. If Mahomes hadn’t hugged him tightly, then Kelce would have fallen down from the platform.

Even before his speech, Kelce was feeling the effects of booze. While the rally was still going on, he met with Chiefs fan, Nick Wright. The FOX Sports analyst went for a handshake, but the nine-time Pro Bowler was barely able to stand on his feet. Wright’s awkward reaction was proof enough that the Chiefs player had too much in his system.

Although winning a Super Bowl does call for celebration, as a role model for many young football players, it’s better to practice moderation. It applies more to Travis Kelce because he is the boyfriend of pop icon Taylor Swift. 

Well, it’s not something football fans haven’t seen before. And judging by his comments after winning the Super Bowl, people will see more of him in the future if the Chiefs win more silverware. Kelce told ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler that he will definitely be back for the 2024 season.

Hell yeah. I want that three-peat.

He was close to another 1,000-yard receiving campaign but missed out narrowly. In 16 games, he had 93 catches for 984 yards and five touchdowns. Kelce now has the fourth-highest receiving yards (11,328) receptions (907) and fifth-most touchdowns (74) by a tight end in NFL history.
