The Kansas City Chiefs and their star quarterback, Patrick Mahomes are currently preparing for their Super Bowl game against the San Francisco 49ers. Ahead of the crucial game, for the Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce’s ex-girlfriend, Kayla Nicole causes a bit of distraction in Kansas City’s camp by reconnecting with Patrick’s younger brother, Jackson Mahomes.

In photos obtained by TMZ Sports, Jackson Mahomes and Kayla Nicole were seen chatting at the Aria Resort & Casino’s High Limit Lounge. According to TMZ, Jackson and Nicole met at the bar around 10:15 p.m. on Thursday after Patrick’s brother spent some time at the hotel’s bar by himself for a few minutes.

It is unclear, whether the couple planned their meeting ahead, but according to reports it seems like Jackson was waiting for someone to show up. TMZ reported that the pair was in high spirits and seemed excited to spend time together. Their meetup comes just a few months after Jackson complimented Kayla Nicole on her Instagram post of her pictures back in December.

Their meeting also comes in the middle of rumors about a rift in the relationship between Nicole and Patrick’s wife Brittany Mahomes. A few weeks after Travis Kelce started dating Taylor Swift, Nicole started unfollowing both Mahomes and his wife since they were getting close with Kelce’s new girlfriend. Nicole reportedly unfollowed her friends since she wanted to keep peace in her life.

But now, she was seen spending time with Patrick’s brother Jackson Mahomes. According to reports, there is no bad blood between both parties involved but everyone assumed everyone close to Brittany Mahomes would cut ties with Nicole since the latter distanced herself from the former. But, it seems like Jackson is cool with his sister-in-law’s former friend.

The Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and his ex-girlfriend Kayla Nicole ended their relationship back in 2022. Following their breakup, Nicole said she was done dating athletes during her appearance on the “Behind the Likes” podcast.
