Travis Kelce‘s girlfriend, Taylor Swift is a global superstar. She is one of the richest celebrities in the world. She is also dating one of the biggest sporting superstars in the country. Kelce and Swift began dating earlier this season and since then, have made multiple appearances together. The Eras Tour singer also attended the Kansas City Chiefs’ recent win over the Miami Dolphins.

Since the beginning of their relationship, Swift’s travel has increased significantly. She has attended multiple Kansas City games at different venues. According to UNILAD’s Instagram account, the pop star’s voyages have produced 138 tons of CO2 emissions to date. That’s equivalent to the energy used by 17 houses in one year, or the electricity used by 26.9 homes for one year.

Airlines and other businesses use carbon offsets to help them achieve their environmental goals of lowering net carbon emissions. However, the editorial board of The Wall Street Journal contended that these offsets, which it referred to as “climate indulgences,” are primarily symbolic.

At the time, TMZ was informed by Swift’s agent that:

Taylor’s jet is loaned out regularly to other individuals. To attribute most or all of these trips to her is blatantly incorrect.

However, according to the Wall Street editorial:

They are a political creation that lets companies and countries—and now celebrities—virtue signal. Carbon offsets don’t significantly reduce emissions, but they do promote the illusion that a net-zero world is possible.
Wall Street Journal’s report

Environmental activists often question politicians and celebrities about their carbon footprints, which are typically far higher than those of the average person.

This will be the Chiefs’ first road playoff game with Patrick Mahomes as their starting quarterback. They will visit the Highmark Stadium in Buffalo and the one question in a lot of people’s minds is, will Taylor Swift attend the game on Sunday?

The 12-time Grammy winner has been a constant during the Chiefs’ games this season. She has shown her full support to her boyfriend Travis Kelce and the Chiefs. Swift attended the game last Saturday at the Arrowhead Stadium. However, it is still unclear if she will attend the game on Sunday against the Bills.

Swift will resume her Eras Tour during the early stages of February and that might be a factor in her decision to attend the game.
