Travis Kelce was already a popular name for an avid football watcher, but his name received global recognition when the world found out that Taylor Swift was dating him. Subsequently, a nomination for the world’s sexiest athlete catapulted him from being a two-time Super Bowl winner to a household name.

And it seems the results are finally in. So did the Kansas City Chiefs tight end become the most desirable sportsperson of the year? Unfortunately, the 34-year-old is not, at least in the eyes of 2000 UK-based women.

A British dating network by the name of Illicitencounters.com conducted a survey rating their favorite athletes from the People magazine nominations. There were some familiar names, such as soccer stars Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. However, a few surprising individuals popped up as well.

Kelce was part of the lot, but he could only hold the third spot on the list. He lost out on a couple of boxer pairs. One of them had new blood. Anthony Joshua took the runner-up spot.

And shattering every expectation, 35-year-old Tyson Fury has been named the sexiest athlete alive (according to UK Women). Fury, who is currently preparing to fight against Oleksandr Usyk next year, is the man of dreams in the British Isles.

Besides being the Chiefs’ top receiving yards leader, Travis Kelce also has a thriving social media presence. That’s mostly due to his ‘New Heights’ podcast alongside his brother and Eagles center Jason Kelce.

However, when the Swifties saw him cuddling and kissing Taylor Swift, that shot up almost 10 fold. The eight-time Pro Bowler thanked the pop icon for being part of his life.

During the recent episode, Kelce wore a shirt emblazoned with “On the Map” and an outline of the United States beneath his face. It was a nod to the famous meme that became popular in the early days of their romance back in September.

Since then, the star couple have been the darlings of social media. They have frequently been seen holding hands on the streets of New York and partying with friends and family. To prove how much Swift means to her, Kelce even flew 5000 miles from the USA to Argentina to watch her live on stage at the Eras Tour.

That was during the Chiefs’ bye week. And now that the week is over, it’s back to business and facing the Philadelphia Eagles.
