The Kansas City Chiefs — who currently have a record of 7-2 — have a bye in week 10, which their star tight end Travis Kelce used to support his girlfriend Taylor Swift. Kelce traveled all the way to Argentina to spend time with Swift, who kicked off the international leg of her Eras Tour starting in Argentina.
On Friday, Kelce touched down in Buenos Aires and was photographed getting into a vehicle, which was waiting for the star tight end. Kelce was wearing a cream-colored sweater and a baseball cap. He was seen only carrying a backpack on his South America trip to meet his girlfriend.
The All-Pro tight end jetted out of Kansas City on Friday after attending the Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes‘ charity gala. Kelce missed the first night of Taylor Swift’s Argentina tour since he was attending Mahomes’ gala. But Swift made sure to send a message to Kelce with her lyrics.
“Oh no, I’m falling in love again,” she sang during “Labyrinth,” a surprise tune she sang on the first night of her Eras Tour in South America. Kelce is expected to spend some time with the 12-time Grammy Award-winning singer on Saturday. He is expected to return to the United States on Sunday to resume his NFL duties.
It seems like Taylor and Travis have moved on to the next stage in their relationship, as the couple took their romance international just three months after they started dating. Previously, Page Six reported that both Swift and Kelce are all in on their relationship and they are already planning for the future while still enjoying what they currently have.
Eli Manning supports Travis Kelce traveling overseas to see Taylor Swift
Earlier this week started suggesting that Travis Kelce would use his bye week to spend time with Taylor Swift, who is currently doing her Eras Tour in Argentina. As soon as that news broke out, many started bashing Kelce for going overseas during his bye week.
Amidst this, the former New York Giants QB Eli Manning has now shown support to Kelce. During a recent interview with People Magazine, Manning said that he has no problem with Kelce traveling overseas to support his girlfriend in his bye week.
There's nothing wrong with traveling and going somewhere. If he wants to go and support his girlfriend and see her play a concert, I've got no problem with that.Manning told People Magazine on Thursday
On the sporting side of things, the Chiefs are currently tied for the second-best record in the league. Next, they will face the defending NFC Champions Philadelphia Eagles in a Super Bowl rematch next Monday.
