Who knew seven years back that Travis Kelce would end up dating the biggest global star, Taylor Swift in the future? Well, neither did he. That’s why, in one of his old interviews he picked Katy Perry over Swift to marry. But at the same time, he also chose Sofia Vagera and Kendall Jenner to marry.
Back in 2016, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end interviewed with Afterbuzz TV, whose clip has resurfaced on the internet from the segment of the “Marry, Kiss, Kill” game– where a person is given three names among whom he has to choose one to marry, one to kiss and one to kill.

Kelce was given the options of Ariana Grande, Swift, and Perry. It was definitely a tough choice for the young tight end but he did answer, reluctantly. He picked Grande to kill, before eventually deciding to marry Perry and kiss Swift.
Interestingly, the possible reason for the resurfacing of the video was the “Lover” songwriter’s Eras tour stop in Sydney, Australia, where both her boyfriend and close friend Perry were at the show. The “Firework” singer sang and danced alongside the 14-time Grammy winner at the Accor Stadium, while Kelce looked mesmerized seeing his ladylove performing, from the VIP tent.
Taylor Swift’s not-so-subtle shout-out to Travis Kelce in Sydney
The “Midnight” award-winning singer sure knows how to mark her territory and she does that in the most classy way. As she did in Sydney for her “sexy” boyfriend, who came all the way down from Vegas for her Eras Tour.

While performing her 2020 hit song “Willow,” she gave a grand shout-out to Kelce by pointing at him on the lyrics of “That’s my man.”
This isn’t the first time the pop superstar did something like this. During her Eras Tour stop in Argentina, where the NFL star tight end and his father, Ed Kelce accompanied Swift. In one of the shows, while she was singing “Karma,” Swift surprised everyone when she changed the lyrics to “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs” from “Karma is the guy on the screen.”
