The 2-time Super Bowl Champion Travis Kelce is having the time of his life the past few weeks. Firstly, he helped the Kansas City Chiefs to defeat the Philadelphia Eagles in a slugfest to become the 3-time Super Bowl Champions. And now, the star tight end has ticked off another item on his bucket list by hosting the Saturday Night Live show where he made fun of his QB Patrick Mahomes and his brother Jason Kelce.
The 4-time All-Pro tight end becomes the latest athlete to host the Saturday Night Live show and make the audience laugh with his charismatic persona. Furthermore, he also took the chance to poke fun at the 2022 league MVP QB Patrick Mahomes during his monologue.
“I am honored that SNL asked me to host, I was nervous about doing a monologue but then I remembered actually I am pretty good with words,” said Kelce. “During games, I do this super eloquent pump-up speeches for my teammates.”
Kelce then proceeded to roll up a clip of him repeating the “more” again and again to his teammates to pump them up during games. After the clip, when the camera cut back to him on stage, Travis Kelce repeated those words with his best Patrick Mahomes impression.

Patrick Mahomes was not the only NFL player to catch strays during Travis Kelce’s appearance on the Saturday Night Live show. Unfortunately, Kelce’s brother and the Philadelphia Eagles center, Jason Kelce, was also a victim of the 8-time Pro Bowler jokes.
“You know, people keep asking me what it was like to beat my brother in the Super Bowl, and it was pretty awkward,” the Chiefs TE joked. “Especially because after the game, we had to ride home together. Our mom drove us there in her minivan, just like the good old days.”
Furthermore, Travis Kelce also revealed that he was caught smoking weed in college and made a joke about it, too. “I actually got kicked off the team because I tested positive for marijuana. So, it just goes to show you if you smoke weed and you’re bad at school, you can win the Super Bowl twice,” joked Kelce.
Moreover, Jason also joined his younger Travis in a skit with “SNL” stars Chloe Fineman and Heidi Gardner. The Chiefs’ tight end was witty and funny throughout the show and seems like he has a good career backup once he retires from football.
