Their maiden restaurant will be named 1587 Prime and aims to offer a world-class culinary experience to the diners.

Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce have established themselves as a winning duo. They are now attempting to extend their winning streak beyond the football field as they foray into the restaurant business. Kelce and Mahomes will be investing as partners to open their first dining establishment named 1587 Prime, a premier steakhouse in Kansas City.

An announcement from Noble 33 Hospitality Group revealed that Taylor Swift’s boyfriend, and Patrick Mahomes are the financial backers for this new venture. Unsurprisingly, the name of the restaurant is a combination of their jersey numbers, 15 that Mahomes rocks and 87 that Kelce sports.

Tosh Berman, the co-founder of Noble 33, spoke to Good Morning America and shared his experience working with the hottest duo in football right now.

Working with Patrick and Travis has been incredible. As longtime supporters of our other restaurants, we worked together to combine their favorite elements of those experiences into what we developed for 1587 Prime. They are natural hosts and can't wait to bring a unique modern American steakhouse experience to Kansas City.

Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce’s latest venture spans over 10,000 sq. ft.

The establishment will be spread over 10,000 square feet across two floors. It is located inside the Loews Kansas City Hotel and in order to pay homage to the founding partners, there will be “hyper-subtle nods to Patrick and Travis’ on-field accomplishments” as per the restaurant group. The duo has chosen to work with Noble 33 as they have had a great experience at the other restaurants operated by them.

The idea, along with the creativity of the group, convinced Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes to turn this project into reality. The quarterback revealed that he and Kelce have become “frequent visitors” of the Noble 33 restaurants in other cities. So it was natural that they brought “something special to” the community in Kansas City.

1587 Prime will be a one-of-its-kind steakhouse. It will have multiple private dining rooms. The state-of-the-art kitchen, and since it is a steakhouse, a “jaw-dropping meat display” along with some of the most delicious wines that will be complementary to the menu. The wine collection at the restaurant will be one of the largest in the State. Kelce and Mahomes’ maiden foray into the restaurant business is scheduled to be ready in the next 18 months.
