The Kansas City Chiefs are having a rough day at Super Bowl LVIII so far. The team remains 7 points short of the 49ers heading into halftime, and along with the anxiety amongst fans, tempers have also begun to go up on the sidelines of the team.
In a shocking development, Travis Kelce lost it and began to yell at head coach Andy Reid. To make matters worse, he bumped into him and, as a result, HC Reid almost fell down.
Before things got any worse, Jerick McKinnon, the RB of the team, had to intervene and pull Kelce back in order to avoid any further escalation. The reason the tight end got agitated with the HC who drafted him was because Andy Reid sent in a squad, which did not include him. With his team being scoreless for the most part of the second quarter, Kelce was getting frustrated.
Heading into the game, Travis Kelce has been locked in. He made a speech to all of his teammates before the game, which had all of them in tears. This is the biggest stage, and it means everything to him. His passion quickly turned into aggression in this instance.

Travis Kelce was furious after Andy Reid did not let him take the field on this play
Andy Reid benched Kelce on the red zone play which ended with Isaiah Pacheco, the running back fumbling the ball. This further infuriated the tight end because he wanted to be out there as he has the confidence that if he gets the ball, he will convert it successfully.
However, despite the minor altercation, Travis Kelce and Andy Reid did eventually makeup within no time. The duo hugged it out and Reid patted him on the back towards the end of the first half. His coach understands how passionate he is about the game and respects him for that.
The San Francisco 49ers have found a way to lock Kelce down for the entirety of the first half. He has just one catch for a single yard. As a result, his competitiveness got the better of him in this instance. This is not the first time that Kelce has become agitated on the sidelines. On Christmas Day, when the Chiefs lost to the Raiders, he threw his helmet at the bench out of frustration.
