Travis Kelce is leading a good life. After winning a game, he gets to kiss Taylor Swift. Not just any game, but the AFC Championship game in which they were 4 points underdogs.

After seeing off the challenge from the Buffalo Bills in the divisional round, the Kansas City Chiefs booked their sixth championship game. In front of them was arguably their biggest challenge yet—to beat the Baltimore Ravens in their own backyard.

Kelce was one of the main reasons for the Chiefs’ historic run. Despite the speculation that his form has dipped since he started dating Swift and that he needs to focus on the game more, the 34-year-old shined when it mattered the most.

With the combination of Patrick Mahomes throwing for 241 passing yards and a touchdown pass to Kelce, the Chiefs bagged another Super Bowl ticket. They beat the Ravens 17-10, and following the win, Swift’s first course of action was to find her boyfriend amongst the sea of players celebrating the win and kiss him.

To the victors goes everything. Life is good, huh?

Travis Kelce became the all-time leader in post-season receptions

Besides being the beau of Taylor Swift, Kelce also loves to break records. Previously, he chose not to go through with the most consecutive seasons with 1,000 receiving yards, but during the Ravens game, he reached another milestone.

An 8-yard catch in the first half gave the nine-time Pro Bowler his 152 receptions in the postseason. As Swift cheered from inside her VIP box, she probably wasn’t aware that her man had broken a record set by the great Jerry Rice.

That catch was Kelce’s seventh in the game. His 19-yard touchdown receptions put the Chiefs ahead 7-0 on the night. He finished the game with 11 catches for 116 yards. It was his eighth postseason game with at least 100 receiving yards. The only active player that could catch him is Tyreek Hill, but he is way behind with 96 catches.

He is currently second in receiving touchdowns with 19, only behind Rice, who had 22. In the divisional round against the Bills, Kelce had five catches for 75 yards and two touchdowns. Seven more in the wild card game against the Miami Dolphins.

The Chiefs now head to Vegas, as Mahomes will play his fourth Super Bowl in his first six years as a starter. They will face the winners of the NFC Championship game between the San Francisco 49ers and the Detroit Lions. One can bet Swift will be there.
