The Kansas City Chiefs have done it again. The team has won its second Super Bowl under Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid. The team edged out the Philadelphia Eagles 38-35 to win it all. Though the primary focus was on Pat Mahomes and Jalen Hurts, this Super Bowl was special for other reasons as well. For the Kelce family, it was a bittersweet moment as one brother reigned victorious over the other.
Travis and Jason Kelce made history by being the first brothers to go against one another in the Super Bowl. While Travis had the last laugh, he was also grateful for being in the position he is in. Following the victory, he spoke to ESPN and shared his thoughts on Patrick Mahomes and his future.

The tight end had high praise for his quarterback, “The guy works so hard and he is so unique in the way he plays the game. You cannot say enough about who he is. He just puts his heart on the line… week in and week out. He devotes his entire life to this and he gets the best out of the guys around him. He challenges us without disrespecting us.”
Travis Kelce wants to play for Andy Reid for the rest of his career

Kelce reaffirmed that Pat Mahomes is a great leader and an even better teammate to be around. The tight end then spoke on his intention to play in Arrowhead until he retires. “The Andy Reid cheat code, it’s a luxury, that’s why you’ll only see me playing for Kansas City my entire career for Andy Reid because he’s going to give me the best opportunity to go out there and have success.”
That has to be a breather for the Chiefs’ kingdom, as Kelce just stated that he intends to play out his entire career in Kansas City. It does make sense though. He has developed such great chemistry with Patrick Mahomes. Their relationship on the field is special and with an experienced Head Coach in Andy Reid, they come together to form the perfect recipe for success.
With Pat Mahomes locked in for another decade and Kelce fully intending to remain in Kansas City, the Chiefs are very well on their path to establishing themselves as a dynasty similar to the Patriots. The future is bright for this team and if they manage to keep all their key pieces together, they can possibly win another 2 Super Bowls at least in the coming years.
