Amid all the criticism circling Taylor Swift‘s presence in the NFL, Jason Kelce batted in favor of his brother’s partner. In an interview with WCPO 9, the Philadelphia Eagles‘ center bashed all the critics unnecessarily calling out Swift.

Swift faces a lot of backlash from NFL fans whenever she’s shown on broadcast during the Chiefs game. Jason Kelce argued the broadcasters show her because the audience wants to see her. He termed Swift as a ‘role model’ for young women across the globe.

The attention’s there because the audience wants to see it. If the people didn’t wanna see it, they wouldn’t be showing it, I know that. She’s a world star. She’s the quintessential artist right now in the world. Singer-songwriter, immensely talented, unbelievable role model for young women across the globe.

There were plenty of discussions regarding the NFL giving too much screen time to the pop singer. Travis Kelce did not find any problem with it. He found the act logical as he went on defending his girlfriend.

She was even spotted in on-the-roads campaigns for the Chiefs. After the game against the Baltimore Ravens, the pop star was spotted celebrating the AFC Championship with her boyfriend Travis Kelce. She hugged and kissed Kelce. These reactions from the pop star were unwelcomed by a lot of others in the NFL.

Colin Cowherd came in support for Taylor Swift earlier

Jason Kelce is not the only one who batted in favor of Taylor Swift. The pop star enjoyed the support of multiple analysts earlier. Veteran analyst Colin Cowherd said that the people who questioned Taylor Swift’s presence were insecure. 

There are a lot of weird lonely insecure man out there. The fact that the pop star, the world's biggest pop star, dating a star tight end, who had one of the best games ever and the network puts them on the air briefly. If it bothers you, what does it say about your life? Judge people sometimes on the silly stuff that bothers them. It says a lot about them. Despite multiple criticisms, Taylor Swift is minding her own business. She would be enjoying the Super Bowl on 11th February. If the Chiefs end up winning the Bowl, she will celebrate again with her boyfriend and the 2023-24 NFL season will be remembered for the brewing romance between Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift.
