The Travis Kelce–Taylor Swift dating scenario has taken a toll on the NFL world. They are already a ‘celebrated’ couple. Both are sharing pictures and Swift has become a regular spectator of the Kansas City Chiefs. Slowly, she is coping with the Chief’s dressing room. She has found a new ‘bestie’ in the dressing room and her name is Brittany Mahomes, wife of the Chiefs signal-caller. They already watched games together and made multiple plans to meet outside. 

The closure between Mahomes and Swift reminds a lot of people about Kayla Nicole, who had a decent friendship with Brittany Mahomes. Nicole dated Travis Kelce for nearly five years. They ended their relationship last year and last month Kayla unfollowed her friends, Patrick and Britany Mahomes.’

It was surprising since Kayla’s friendship with Brittany started much before Kayla started dating Travis. They, in fact, kind of grew up together.

Now, in a recent interview, Kayla openly spoke about her relationship with Brittany Mahomes and Patrick. In the interaction with the PEOPLE, she said why she ‘ended’ her friendship with the NFL’s one of the hottest duos. 

I do think it's important to publicly address this because I did publicly unfollow people. The reality is I know these people in real life. And so, in real life, I've communicated to these people why I've had to publicly make the decisions that I made.

She did not stop there as she kept on saying: 

To everyone it's like, 'Oh, you broke up a year ago,' and that meant it's like a light switch, you turn it on and off and everything goes dead and black and you don't ever speak to anyone ever again. That's not reality. I have ongoing relationships with all parties involved. That's a lot of history and friendship there, that doesn't change overnight. But publicly, because things are happening so quickly and so publicly, I have to protect myself. That's all that is. The love is still there.

Nicole-Kelce relationship ended on a bad note 

The relationship between Kelce and his ex, Kayla Nicole, did not end well. Nicole did made some direct and indirect allegations against Kelce.

Most recently, Kayla’s friend listed the reasons behind the couple’s breakup in an interaction with The Media Take Out. 

Travis is very cheap. In the beginning, he tried to make Kayla ‘prove’ that she wasn’t with him for the money, so she had to pay half of everything.

However, looks like Kelce and Swift are not listening to what other people are saying about them. Their relationship is in full swing and both of them are enjoying their private time.
