It is now Trey Lance's time to shine in San Francisco
Trey Lance was drafted by San Francisco 49ers with the 3rd pick in last year’s NFL draft, and spent the year as backup to Jimmy G. Now Lance who was announced as 49ers new starting Quarterback replacing Garappolo who led 49ers to 2 NFC championship games.
49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan announced this by “We have moved on to Trey and we are starting camp out this way. We think Jimmy would have been traded if the surgery didn’t happen.“

Trey Lance the 49ers new QB1
22 year old Lance who played for North Dakota State in college has full faith of the 49ers to lead them to a Lombardi and is up for the challenge with all the knowledge he gained last year.
“Mentally’s the biggest thing. I’m … light-years ahead of where I was last year,” Lance said told the NFL Network’s Kurt Warner on Inside Training Camp Live. “Last year … I knew what was going on, but this year I can actually pay attention a lot more to defense, pay attention to fronts, defensive structures and all that. I’m learning a whole lot, and I’m able to kind of know what’s going on.”
Lance will have a lot to live upto as the man who replaces under center for the 49ers, Jimmy G has left behind a legacy where he led this team to a Super bowl and 2 NFC championship games.
