One of the best quarterbacks of all time, Aaron Rodgers returned to action in the NFL but his poor run this season just won’t stop. The 39-year-old is having one of the worst seasons of his career and injury concerns just keep adding fuel to the fire. In the Monday night game between the Green Bay Packers and the Los Angeles Rams, Rodgers looked very rusty at the start but managed to level up his game as the game progressed.
Eventually, the Packers defeated the Rams 24-12 to stay alive in the race to the playoffs. They have a very brim chance of qualifying with a current 6-8 record for the season, but they could still do it if they win their remaining matches. Rodgers’ performance wasn’t up to the mark and if it were not for the Packers’ defense, they could’ve lost the game.
During the dying minutes of the first quarter, Rodgers, attempting for a first down throw, lodged the ball up in the air only to land directly in the lands of Rams’ safety Taylor Rapp. He was attempting to throw the ball to wide receiver Allen Lazard but it was easily intercepted by Rapp. Courtesy of his brainless throw, Rodgers was intercepted once again this season. This was his 10th interception of the season his highest total in 12 years.
Rodgers was already massively underperforming this season and this INT just made things worse. He had combined 9 interceptions in the last two seasons and this season, he already has 10.

Fans on social media were very upset with Rodgers‘ performance and believed that young QB Jordan Love should start for the Packers instead of Rodgers. They even termed him ‘Fraudgers’ for his performance and pointed out how bad that throw was.
In the end, Rogers led his team to a 24-12 win and kept them in contention for the playoffs. He did improve as the game progressed and with his experience, the team would want to rely on him for the upcoming game. The Packers will have to do it the hard way if they want to stay in contention moving ahead as they face two in-form teams- the Dolphins and the Vikings in the coming weeks. They will then face the Lions- a team they are fighting against for the playoff spot.
