“He took a short break before throwing”: NFL Twitter calls out Tua Tagovailova’s abilities
Tua Tagovailoa may be one of the most overlooked quarterbacks going into this season. For the Miami Dolphins QB, this season is a boom or bust season as there has been much criticism around him. Fans and analysts alike do not expect much from the QB and believe that the Miami Dolphins made a mistake by drafting him. Tua overcame a hip injury that restricted him from playing in his final season games at Alabama. The 5th pick in the 2020 draft started as a backup to Ryan Fitzpatrick before starting in Week 8 that season.
From then onwards, Tua has not had the best NFL career so far, the QB was carted off on a stretcher in Week 2 of the 2021 season game against the Buffalo Bills. The moment was reminiscent of when he suffered a hip injury at Alabama where he was carted off in a similar fashion.

Recently, the Miami Dolphins traded for the Kansas City Chiefs’ elite wideout and one of Patrick Mahomes’ go-to weapons Tyreek Hill. Hill is not nicknamed Cheetah for no reason, the brother can run, he has the most elite of defensive backs contemplating how to keep up with him most of the time.
A recent video surfaced from the training camp of the Miami Dolphins where Tua was seen throwing the ball down deep to his newest weapon, NFL Twitter had a lot to say about the QB’s throwing motion and if this duo would really fare well in the league or not. Here are some of the best reactions:
I mean, Mahomes is 1 of 1.
Which of these were your favorites? Let us know! Jokes apart, we do hope Tua comes out strong and proves us all wrong by having a stellar season and who knows, maybe he could even win the Most Improved Player.
