“Just trying to stay relevant,” NFL Twitter can’t keep calm as the Chargers viciously roast Emmanuel Acho on their social media for calling out Justin Herbert

Emmanuel Acho is an NFL analyst who’s developed a likeness for Chargers QB Justin Herbert and calls him out on every opportunity he gets. However, Acho is also known for giving statements that no one else would have thought of

The Fox Sports analyst recently said something about Herbert that was uncalled for. Acho called the Chargers QB a ‘social media quarterback’. The analyst believes that social media typically looks away when Herbert commits a mistake.

Acho also pointed out that the Chargers QB only plays for the social media retweets and reels, the media favors him and doesn’t point out his flaws.

The Los Angeles Chargers took notice of the clip of Acho criticizing Herbert and made an amazing edit and posted it on their Twitter. The clip was posted to call out the Fox analyst for his wrong statement. The clip posted by the Chargers was evidence of how wrong Acho was and even the analysts on the same panel as him were listening in shock.

There are no special privileges on Twitter as even Herbert gets periodically called out for his sub-par performance. NFL Twitter calls out anyone and everyone and now it was Acho’s turn as he got brutally called out.

Emmanuel Acho was ridiculed on NFL Twitter for his Justin Herbert comment

Emmanuel Acho knew that this was coming when he made the ‘social media quarterback’ statement. Although, he must have not predicted that even the Chargers would call out the former NFL player.

NFL Twitter went berserk after hearing Acho’s statement and started to call him out for his lack of knowledge, while some also stated that he’s just doing this to stay relevant. Their show on Fox sports was also called out as people started to question the credibility of the analysts sitting on the panel.

Acho also commented on the viral post on the Chargers Twitter account to get back at them but it further added to his misery as he was roasted even more after that comment. There’s a lesson to be learned here, when someone gets called out, they should wait for the perfect opportunity or just let it slide.

Emmanuel Acho’s statement won’t bother Herbert that much as he’s playing really well currently and the Chargers are second in their division with a 5-5 record trailing only to the formidable Chiefs.
