Joe Burrow is one of the best young quarterbacks in the league. He was drafted first overall by the Cincinnati Bengals in 2020 which turned out to be the best decision as Burrow changed the way the league looked at this franchise.
In his second season as the signal caller of the Bengals, Joe Burrow led the team to their first playoff win since 1990, ending the longest active drought across all major North American sports.
He also led the Bengals to Super Bowl LVI but unfortunately couldn’t win the Lombardi Trophy against the Rams. Last year, Cincinnati made it all the way to the AFC Championship game but was defeated by the Kansas City Chiefs who went on to win Super Bowl LVII.

Joe Burrow and Angel Reese make fans go gaga over them
Joe Burrow played college football at LSU and became a legend during his four years there. In 2019, Burrow led the Tigers to an undefeated 15-0 season and capped it off with a CFP National Championship win. He ended the season with 5671 yards, completing 76.3 percent of his passing attempts for 60 touchdowns and 6 interceptions. He won every award there was in 2019 that made him the best quarterback in the nation and the first overall pick of the 2020 NFL draft.
Another LSU legend that has taken the sports world by storm is Angel Reese. The 20-year-old basketball player led the Tigers to its first national championship game win in 2023. Reese set the NCAA single-season record in double-doubles and the SEC single-season record in rebounds. Everyone heaped praises on Reese for winning the championship and NBA Icon Shaq even called her the greatest athlete to come out of LSU.
Both LSU legends, Joe Burrow and Angel Reese, made an appearance together at LSU’s Spring game in Death Valley. The two posed for a picture together, pointing to their ring fingers referring to the national championships they brought home. Fans went insane after spotting Burrow and Reese at the game. Even Twitter couldn’t contain its excitement about the two superstars posing together.
With Jalen Hurts signing a massive five-year $255 million contract extension with the Eagles, experts predict that Joe Burrow might go even higher than that. However, if Burrow asks for a $50 million per year salary, then the Bengals won’t be able to retain Ja’Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, and some of the other stars on the offense. It’s up to Burrow now to decide whether he wants money or playmakers on the offense. The 26-year-old will enter the final year of his rookie contract in 2023, so it won’t be long until he signs an extension with Cincinnati.
