“Ironic coming from this dude” – NFL Twitter DECODES Antonio Brown’s ‘cryptic’ post showing a probable change of heart toward Tom Brady

Former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver, Antonio Brown simply finds a way to keep himself relevant in the NFL world despite not having taken the gridiron in over a year. The 34-year-old has always been an intriguing character, but the idiosyncrasies have simply overshadowed his legacy as a footballer since he started attacking his long-time friend and NFL legend, Tom Brady.

Brown met Tom Brady during his time at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but their relationship can be easily broken down into a story of two halves, before and after Brown’s infamous exit from the gridiron. AB stormed off the gridiron during the Buccaneers’ regular season game against the New York Jets in 2021, and was consequently released by the franchise marking an end to his footballing career.

That seemed to be a turning point in the relationship between the quarterback and the wide receiver. Since then, Brown has done everything he can to tarnish Tom Brady’s name in the public, mostly by calling him out on social media.

During the 2022/23 season, when Tom Brady had the most difficult time of his career both personally and professionally, Brown mocked the former regularly even bringing up TB12’S estranged relationship with Gisele Bündchen at the time. From sharing offensive pictures of the Brazilian model to leaking chats between himself and Brady, Brown has done it all.

After a hiatus, Brown has once again seemingly left a message for Brady on his official Twitter account. He wrote, “We supposed to straighten each other crown / not knock each other down.”

Although he didn’t explicitly explain the tweet, fans have speculated that it might have been aimed at his former quarterback who apparently didn’t back him up after his stupendous shirtless exit from the NFL game. Check out a few fan reactions to the tweet-

However, till date nothing concrete has come out regarding what may have caused this bitterness from Brown towards his once friend and confidant Brady. In fact, if not for Brady the wide receiver may not even have set foot in Buccaneers, given the fact that TB12 convinced the franchise to bring him in.
