Von Miller turned himself into Glenn Heights Police a few hours after Dallas authorities issued a warrant against the Buffalo Bills linebacker for allegedly assaulting his pregnant ex-girlfriend, Megan Denise. However, she later revealed that the incident was blown out of proportion.

In a call recording obtained by WFAA, Denise claimed that she was choked and covered in bruises. Yet she sounded adamant that Miller had done nothing wrong besides hitting her.

He pulled my hair out. I have, like, some blood on me—but not, like, yeah, I don’t know.

On Thursday, she wrote to WFAA that the context was being twisted and nothing serious happened.

Things were blown way out of context. We’re fine. This is actually outrageous!

When asked about what happened between the two, she disclosed that it was only a mild “verbal disagreement.” Not only that, she said it was a “huge misunderstanding” and “no one assaulted anyone.”

As per reports, Miller was allowed to walk after paying a $5000 bond. But the Bills haven’t sent out any more statements regarding what their plans are for the veteran edge rusher. However, the social media thinks that Miller paid Denise to alter her statement.

What did the Buffalo Bills say about Von Miller’s arrest?

After the police took Miller into custody, several media outlets reached out to the Buffalo Bills front office for a statement. They replied that they were aware and were keeping an eye on what transpired down the line in the near future.

This morning, we were made aware of an incident involving Von Miller. We are in the process of gathering more information and will have no further comment at this point.
Bills commented as per the New York Post

Miller starred for Texas A&M in college and was selected as the second overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos. He won four All-Pro and eight Pro Bowl honors and a Super Bowl with the Broncos. After spending a decade at Mile High, he moved to the Los Angeles Rams in 2021 and won his second Super Bowl in his debut campaign.

A year later, the Rams let Miller join the Buffalo Bills, with whom he signed a six-year, $120 million contract. Unfortunately, surgery on his knee kept him off the roster. In almost two years, he has only appeared in a couple of games, and the Bills lost both of them. They are currently on their bye week after narrowly losing 37-34 against the Philadelphia Eagles.
