The next generation of quarterbacks is in. Joe Burrow, Jalen Hurts, Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes are currently dominating the league and it’s now time for the next set of signal-callers. There were 3 quarterbacks selected in the first round of the 2023 NFL draft. All 3 first-round QBs Bryce Young, C.J. Stroud, and Anthony Richardson, along with Will Levis, recently had a chat with the legendary QB Tom Brady.
The top 4 quarterbacks selected in the 2023 Draft skipped the first day of the NFLPA rookie events in Los Angeles to have lunch with the New England Patriots icon Tom Brady according to ESPN reporter Adam Schefter. The renowned NFL insider Schefter reported in a tweet that the top 4 QBs Bryce Young, C.J. Stroud, Anthony Richardson, and Will Levis had lunch with Brady and discussed business opportunities with the Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin.
“On first day of NFLPA rookie events in LA, the top 4 QBs drafted – Bryce Young, CJ Stroud, Anthony Richardson, Will Levis- are instead attending a lunch at Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin’s house with Tom Brady, Travis Scott, and Rubin to discuss entrepreneurship and brand building,” tweeted Schefter.
Tom Brady is widely regarded as the greatest quarterback of all time, and all the QBs that were drafted in 2023 would be chasing Brady’s accomplishments throughout their careers. So, they will not pass up on the chance to meet the 15-time Pro Bowl QB even if it meant skipping the NFLPA’s rookie event.

Social media reacts to Tom Brady meeting up with the rookie QBs

NFL fans on social media had funny interpretations of Tom Brady’s advice to the young rookie quarterbacks of the 2023 class. Fans made jokes about Brady’s recent divorce from his supermodel ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen. Nevertheless, many people appreciated the 7-time Super Bowl Champion advising the young QBs who are starting their careers. Check out some of the fans’ reactions below!
On the business side of things, Anthony Richardson has reportedly impressed the Indianapolis Colts coaches during the training camp and will likely be the starting QB in week 1.
The Houston Texans will probably start C.J. Stroud in week 1 since they don’t have a veteran QB on their roster. Will Levis has shown some flashes during the rookie camp, but he will have to sit behind the Tennessee Titans QB Ryan Tannehill to start the 2023 season.
The Carolina Panthers will likely start the veteran quarterback Andy Dalton in week 1, but Bryce Young will certainly get his opportunity before the end of the 2023 season.
