“We got us a stable”: Russell Wilson is overjoyed after Melvin Gordon’s re-signing with Broncos

Melvin Gordon has made a name for himself at the highest level. The talented running back will continue to feature for the Denver Broncos in the coming season as well. After delivering impressive performances during his college football days at Wisconsin, he was roped in by the Chargers back in 2015.
Two-time Pro Bowler, Gordan received the Doak Walker Award back in 2014 and then he was named the Big Ten offensive player of the year. Melvin joined the Denver Broncos back in 2020 but there were a few question marks about which team he will eventually play for in the coming season.

Putting an end to all the speculations, the Broncos successfully roped in Melvin for the 2022 season. Melvin has signed a one-year contract and as reported by NFL Insider Ian Rapoport, the deal is worth up to $5 million.
The offseason has been full of drama and one of the most dramatic deals of the season was Russell Wilson getting roped in by the Denver Broncos. As it turns out, Russell is also extremely delighted to see that Melvin will continue to stay with the Denver-based franchise.
Wilson took to Twitter to express his delight in Melvin’s deal and wrote, “25, we got us a stable.” Wilson’s Tweet garnered a lot of reactions from the fans. While many were happy with the way things turned out for Melvin, a few weren’t pleased with the Broncos spending so much money on him.
