The National Football League Players Association recently released a report that ranked all 32 teams in the league. The clubs were judged on various factors that included team facilities, treatment of family members, coaching staff, and offseason training sessions among others.
Unfortunately for the New York Jets, they were ranked 19th overall by players. This is not a good look for any team and more so for the Jets who are in desperate need of a veteran quarterback. “77 percent of players feel that owner Woody Johnson is willing to invest in necessary upgrades to these facilities, ranking him 24th in this category,” as per the report.
What’s worse is that their coaching staff ranked last in the league. No matter how bad any other facilities are, if the coaching staff is an elite pack, players would obviously come and play for them. But as reported by the representatives of Jets players, the coaching staff doesn’t utilize the time of players efficiently and most of the time they are held back at the facility for an extended amount of time.

Will Aaron Rodgers go to the Jets?
This report is released by the NFL Players Association to give free agents better insight into the team they might sign during the offseason. This report reflect poorly on the Jets who are in the process of trading for Aaron Rodgers. While the Packers haven’t released anything concrete about moving on from the 4x NFL MVP, analysts believe that Rodgers’ era in Green Bay has come to an end.
The Jets look like a perfect landing spot for Rodgers since the team is stacked with weapons on both sides of the scrimmage line. Minor adjustments will make the team ready to stomp over the heavyweights like Chiefs, Bengals, Bills, and Jaguars to have a shot at winning the Super Bowl. However, after the NFLPA’s reports, which ranked New York’s coaches as dead last in the league, it’s highly unlikely that Rodgers lands there since he has made it abundantly clear many times in the past few years that he will not be a part of a rebuild.
More over, Rodgers is only likely to stay for one year before he retires, so he’s not looking for a hassle right now. The 39-year-old is more interested in a team that has everything sorted out and just need him to give them direction. By the looks of it, Aaron Rodgers to the Jets won’t happen. Football fans also feel the same way which was evident from their reactions on Twitter.
While this report is just a guide, it might serve as a precaution to Aaron Rodgers who is looking to deliver another MVP season and potentially win the Super Bowl. Atleast, for the fans, this whole trade just got more interesting with the NFLPA’s report. Let’s see if Rodgers takes the risk and goes to New York or does he stay back in Green Bay who will pay him $59.5 million in 2023.
