The Kansas City Chiefs led by their MVP quarterback Patrick Mahomes just defeated the Philadelphia Eagles in an all-time classic Super Bowl game at State Farm Stadium. This is the third Super Bowl in the Kansas City-based franchise’s history and the second Super Bowl ring for the young QB Patrick Mahomes, who was also named the Super Bowl MVP for his performance.
After deferring the ball during the opening kickoff, the Chiefs quickly found themselves in trouble as they faced a 10-point deficit at the halftime mark. However, the Chiefs, who are well known for their comeback victories, wrote another chapter in history as they managed to erase that double-digit deficit and win the game 38-35 on the back of a last-minute Harrison Butker field goal.
The Chiefs’ star QB Patrick Mahomes threw for 182 yards and 3 touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes. The All-Pro quarterback did just enough to guide his team over the finish line against a tough Eagles team. Furthermore, Mahomes’ most reliable target tight end Travis Kelce showed up big time as he managed to catch 6 passes for 81 yards and one touchdown while averaging 13.5 yards per reception.
The genius head coach Andy Reid managed to call a masterful game on the offensive side of football, which helped Patrick Mahomes to lead the Chiefs to the third-ever Super Bowl ring in their history.

Social media reacts to Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory
The Chiefs fans on social media were ecstatic about their team’s victory at the Super Bowl. Furthermore, the Chiefs’ star quarterback Patrick Mahomes won the Super Bowl MVP honors. While it’s true Mahomes played well, he got plenty of help from his teammates.
The Chiefs’ strong offensive line didn’t allow a single sack against a fairly tough Eagles’ defense. The Chiefs’ defense managed to sack Jalen Hurts two times and also created a fumble which was recovered and returned by the Chiefs’ LB Nick Bolton.
With this victory, the Chiefs have 2 Super Bowl wins in the last four years and have probably kick-started a dynasty in the AFC Conference. However, with Sean Payton taking over the Denver Broncos‘ head coaching job, the AFC West might get a bit tough to win during the next season.
However, as long as the Chiefs have Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid leading them, the Kansas City-based football team will be a dominant team in the league and will be competing for Super Bowl again and again.
