The 2023 NFL Draft is right around the corner. There will be no shortage of entertainment and drama in the much-anticipated event that will take place in Kansas City from April 27 to April 29. The most drama would be surrounding the Top 4 QBs. The Alabama QB Bryce Young has been the favorite to be 1st overall pick for quite some time now. However, in new betting odds, the Kentucky QB Will Levis has emerged as the new favorite to be the second overall pick over the Ohio State QB C.J. Stroud.
That is a drama to be focused on during Draft Day. The Carolina Panthers are currently holding the 1st overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. They are allegedly locked in on drafting the talented but undersized QB Bryce Young. Despite being undersized, Young has been the favorite QB of many experts in this year’s draft class. C.J. Stroud was once in the mix for the 1st overall pick, but recently his draft stocks plummeted due to his low score on the S2 cognitive test.
The leaked S2 cognition test showed Stroud had the lowest score of 18% of all the quarterbacks that took the test. For comparison, Bryce Young led the quarterbacks with a score of 98% and the Kentucky QB Will Levis scored 93%. Stroud’s low score along with the stigma that Ohio State QBs usually fail at the NFL level plummeted his draft stocks.
Well, one man’s loss is another man’s gain! Stroud draft stocks taking a hit has led to Will Levis rising on the draft boards. In betting odds, Levis is favored (-140) to be the second overall pick, and the fans are pissed.
NFL Twitter reacts to Will Levis raising on the draft boards

NFL fans on social media were pissed at the possibility that Will Levis could get drafted before the 2021 and 2022 Heisman Finalist C.J. Stroud in the much-anticipated 2023 NFL Draft.
The Houston Texans are currently holding the 2nd overall pick and they do need a quarterback. But the fans think the Texans shouldn’t draft Levis since either C.J. Stroud or Bryce Young would be available at the spot.
Levis didn’t have a great college career, but his physical attributes and him playing with lesser talents around him than the other quarterbacks has impressed a lot of people around the league.
His draft stock dipped a bit in recent times, but Stroud’s disaster score in the S2 cognition test has helped Levis’ draft stock. Nevertheless, C.J. Stroud could still go as the 1st overall pick to the Panthers, since he has all the tools and intangibles to become an NFL quarterback. Only time will tell who’ll play where in the 2023 season.
