“Help yourselves and trade him,” NFL Twitter savagely reacts to Robert Saleh’s comments of helping Zach Wilson after 3-INT performance

The quarterbacks are having a hard time to flourish in the current season of the NFL, as has been evident from the performance of the veterans. New York Jets head coach Robert Saleh, too, has a similar problem to tend to after his side’s latest defeat against the Patriots.
The Jets fell to their third defeat of the season courtesy of a poor performance from second-year quarterback Zach Wilson, albeit it was his first defeat. Before this particular encounter, he boasted of a 4-0 record, but that seems a distant ago at the moment.
The Jets had a decent start to the game with their defense dominating, but it all fell through in the second half wherein the Patriots grabbed authority. Wilson threw three interceptions in the second half and acknowledged that his performance wasn’t up to the mark.
Robert Saleh supported his quarterback, suggesting ways how the coaches can help him in the future

Jets head coach Robert Saleh, however, refrained from criticizing his quarterback and spoke of how he and his backroom staff want to help the 23-year-old grow as a player. “He has to play better, and we have to find ways to help him,” Robert Saleh said.
“The line of scrimmage goes all way around the globe in those situations,” Saleh continued. “You can throw in the stands if you want to. We’ll figure it out. We’ll help him out. We have to figure out a way to get that fixed.”
Saleh understood that they need to find a solution to the problems Wilson faced against the Patriots, given the fact that he’s still only a young man at 23 years of age. However, Wilson did not receive such support from the fans, whether it be on social media or in real life.

“We just have to rally around him. Coaches, we have to figure out how to make it not necessarily simpler, but just help him continue to progress and evolve. He’s still a young man. Playing quarterback in this league is not easy.”
Twitter Reactions to Robert Saleh backing Zach Wilson following the defeat
Fans can be pretty reactionary and that shows in these Tweets. The quarterback has performed pretty well up until now and Saleh rightly backed him to come out of this one-game slump.
