Trevor Andrew Bauer has made a name for himself in baseball. The professional pitcher who features for the Los Angeles Dodgers in the MLB is rated very highly by experts.

In fact, he has won both, the Golden Spikes Award and the National Pitcher of the Year Award which is enough to prove his prowess. Before being roped in by the Dodgers, He played for the Arizona Diamondbacks, Cleveland Indians, and Cincinnati Reds. However, not long ago, he got himself involved in a major controversy.

Around 10 months ago, a California woman accused Trevor of sexual assault, and now, the league has decided to suspend Bauer for as many as 324 games, two full seasons. However, Trevor took to Twitter and stated that he will raise his voice against the decision and repeated that he is not guilty.

In the strongest possible terms, I deny committing any violation of the league’s domestic violence & sexual assault policy. I am appealing this action and expect to prevail. As we have throughout this process, my representatives & I respect the confidentiality of the proceedings,” Trevor tweeted.

As soon as Trevor’s news went viral, innumerable people reminded everyone on Twitter that even NFL’s Deshaun Watson has been accused of sexual assault but he is yet to face any action.

For the unversed, a lawsuit was filed against him by 22 women who accused him of harassment and sexual assault. Although a grand jury had declined to indict him in the case a while ago, he is still under NFL’s investigation. It will be interesting to see if the NFL is pressurized to take some strong action against Deshaun.
