Tyreek Hill‘s ongoing feud with Stephen A. Smith has entered its next phase. He fired back at the veteran ESPN contributor and questioned his ‘credentials’ as a football expert.

The saga started a week ago when Smith criticized Tua Tagovailoa as a “2-yard” quarterback on Get Up. Incidentally, they were discussing who could be in the running for the NFL MVP this season. When Tagovailoa’s name popped up, he instantly dismissed Hill, giving him most of the credit. According to him, Tua fiddles more with short passes to his receivers, like Tyreek, and they make it 20 or 30 yards. In general, Hill makes Tua look better.

A few days later, the star playmaker came to the defense of the Miami Dolphins signal caller. Hill called out Smith for the comments.

I’m sick of people bashing my QB for no reason. He’s been doing a hell of a job this year, and people need to stop giving him cr*p.

Stephen A. clapped back at the 29-year-old when he heard about it. It sounded more like a warning, to be fair.

Watch your mouth; you don't know what you're talking about. I got 7 TVs in my basement; I'm watching all the games. To accuse me of not watching the games?

Well, it’s not easy to shut Cheetah out, which he admitted himself. In a recent segment of his podcast, ‘It Needed to Be Said’, Hill replied to Smith.

I don’t know what’s up with these analysts thinking they’ve got the credentials to talk about the sport that we live every day. His take on Tua was just lazy didn't do his homework. Tua is the engine; without him, we wouldn't be where we are. I guess it's just one of those scenarios where he's just jealous. He wants to be the individual to be able to have conversations with athletes.

Tyreek Hill will start against the New England Patriots

Panic spread among Miami Dolphins fans and fantasy football fanatics when they heard Tyreek Hill had missed Wednesday’s training session. People started suspecting that he might have received a knock. But he returned to the Dolphins facility on Thursday and revealed the reason behind his sudden absence.

I just wanted some attention because my momma wouldn't talk to me yesterday. So, I needed some attention from somebody. I'm good, though.
Hill told ESPN.com

Besides Tyreek Hill, the Dolphins front office is hoping that they will be able to field cornerback Jalen Ramsey against the Patriots as well. But there hasn’t been any confirmation regarding that.
