The Miami Dolphins fans can breathe a sigh of relief as their star wide receiver Tyreek Hill returned to practice on Thursday after missing Wednesday’s practice session with an apparent hip injury. On Thursday, the All-Pro pass catcher confirmed to the media that he will play in the Dolphins’ week 8 game against the New England Patriots. Furthermore, he also revealed the reason he missed Wednesday’s practice and said that he wanted his mom’s attention.
I just wanted some attention, because my momma wouldn't talk to me yesterday. So, I needed some attention from somebody. I'm good, though.Hill told the reporters on Thursday.

Was Tyreek joking about missing a practice session to get attention from his mom? Maybe or maybe not. But the bottom line is, the All-Pro receiver is good to go against the Patriots on Sunday. That is a huge boost for Tua Tagovailoa and the Dolphins’ offensive unit.
The 29-year-old wide receiver is having one of the best seasons of his career. He is leading the league on both receiving yards and receiving touchdowns as he has caught 53 passes for 902 yards and 7 touchdowns. For comparison, that’s how many TDs Hill caught in the entire 2022 regular season.
During the 2023 off-season, Hill set a goal of registering a record-breaking 2000-plus receiving yards season. He’s well on pace to achieve that in this season. If the All-Pro wideout can stay healthy for the entire season, he has a shot at becoming the first player in NFL‘s history to register a 2000-plus receiving yards season.
Tyreek Hill and the Dolphins have a tough game ahead
The Dolphins — led by the dynamic duo of Tua Tagovailoa and Tyreek Hill — are off to a great start in the ongoing season. They are currently tied for the second-best record in the entire league with 5 wins and 2 losses.

But this weekend, they are scheduled to go against their AFC East division rivals, the Patriots. The New England-based football team has one of the worst records in the league with just 2 wins and 5 losses.
However, they are coming off a major victory against the Buffalo Bills in their week 7 matchup. It seemed like the Pats QB Mac Jones finally found his rhythm against the tough Bills defense.
Besides, the last time, the Dolphins faced the Pats, Tua and the Phins had to fight hard for their victory. So, this time, it would be a tough game for the Miami-based football team, but they would look to come out on top on Sunday and extend their division lead.
