Looks like Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill has a different opinion when it comes to the best quarterback in the league. As it turned out, his favourites aren’t the top-ranked quarterbacks of Bengals’ Joe Burrow or Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes.

The star WR ranked Dolphins 5th round pick from the 2020 NFL draft, Tua Tagovailoa is the most accurate quarterback in the league, succeeding Burrow and Mahomes. And it’s because Hill believes Tagovailoa has a unique set of skills that makes him quite accurate in the field.

During a conversation with Sports commentator and analyst Michael Irvin, the star wide receiver said:

I feel like people aren't backtracking and don't want to bite the brothers and say, 'You know what, we were wrong about this guy [Tagovailoa].' To me, I've got the most accurate quarterback in the league. I didn't say the best, most accurate.

Hill was careful with his words when he crowned Tagovailoa as the most accurate quarterback in the league, as it would go contrary to the opinions of Mahomes being the best QB as of today.

However, it can’t be denied that under quarterback Tagovailoa, the Dolphins have improved significantly in recent years and are again a strong contender in the AFC East, after the long dominance by the New England Patriots, whom they destroyed in Week 8 with a score 31-17. As Hill joined the Dolphins last year, he quickly became close friends with the quarterback Tagovailoa, on the field. He has also played with Mahomes previously with the Chiefs, but when it comes to preference, Hill goes with his current teammate.

How Tua Tagovailoa went from a doubtful draft pick to a top-rated passer?

When the QB Tagovailoa was picked by the Dolphins as their 5th overall pick back in 2020, there was a lot of uncertainty regarding his capability to lead the team’s offense. But as three years have passed with the Dolphins, it seems like they made the right call with him.

Last season, when Hill joined the Dolphins, Tagovailoa made a significant improvement. He completed a total of 259 passes out of 400 attempts with a completion rate of 64.8%. He recorded 3,548 yards, 25 touchdowns and eight interceptions. These numbers speak for themselves when his teammate calls him the most accurate QB.

And this season, while facing the Patriots in Week 8, Tagovailoa was undefeated as he recorded throwing for 324 yards, three touchdowns with one interception. Wide receiver Hill achieved the historic milestone of completing over 1,000 receiving yards in his last eight games.
