The Kansas City Chiefs have done it again, the team won its second Super Bowl in the Patrick Mahomes-Andy Reid era. The game was one competitive matchup with both teams going back and forth. At halftime, the Philadelphia Eagles led the score by 10 points but as long as Pat Mahomes is on the field, no lead is safe and no comeback is impossible.
Patrick Mahomes ended the game with a stellar performance of throwing for 3 touchdowns and 182 yards, he connected with Travis Kelce for 1 touchdown. The duo cemented their legacy as one of the most dynamic pairs to have played in the NFL. It is not just fans who recognize that the relationship between Kelce and Mahomes is special but their performance last night was so good, one of their former teammates could also not hold himself back from appreciating them.
It was none other than Tyreek Hill or the Cheetah as he is infamously known for his speed. Hill was watching his former teammates kill it in the Super Bowl and took to Twitter to share his thoughts. “Boy 15 and 87 has to be the greatest duo of all time!! Love watching it.”
Tyreek Hill recognizes the greatness of Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce
Greatness can recognize greatness. Tyreek Hill has spent years playing alongside Travis and Patrick and, as a result, he knows their relentless work ethic. The trio have played together and won a Super Bowl together as well. Kansas City has always had great chemistry amongst its wideout core. Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce share the most special connection among any other QB-TE pair in the NFL.
At this rate, this chemistry between 15 and 87 could be as special as the connection between 12 and 87. Yes, Mahomes and Kelce could become as great as Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski if they keep up this pace.
Well, Tyreek Hill must be disappointed that he decided to leave the Chiefs to join Miami this season, considering he would have had another Super Bowl ring if he had stayed.
