The Miami Dolphins have had a few practice sessions as the month of July comes to an end. Every year, the fans want to know how the offense will perform because that’s where the fun players are. None more so than wide receiver Tyreek Hill. He joined the Miami franchise after a successful time in Kansas, winning the Super Bowl. Expectations were high among the fans to see a star wideout in training. He was like a boogieman standing out from the rest, but this time around, the situation seems different.
Last season, Hill showed why he was an All-Pro receiver. He caught 119 passes for 1,710 yards and scored eight touchdowns. The 29-year-old was moving up and down the football field, finding spaces where the opposition players did not even exist. He was leaving his teammates in the dust during the practice sessions.
However, in the first week of the latest training camp, Hills looked off the pace. Managing maybe 50 total yards in two practice sessions, like a rookie trying to mingle in. Has the Cheetah fallen asleep? It’s possible the Marina fiasco during the summer is bugging Tyreek Hill. But that should not be his current priority as the league continues its investigation.
Omar Kelly of SI had this to say about Hill’s performance during the latest training camp: “Hill’s first week made him look like he’d lost his super powers. You can tell he’s either slowed by a nagging injury or his focus is off. He’s had too many drops.”
The seven-time pro bowler needs to rediscover his explosive attitude fast, and now more than ever after Jalen Ramsey‘s injury. It’s not all doom and gloom, as former nemesis Eli Apple is coming as a replacement. This new development may spice things up a notch.

Eli Apple says there’s only love between him and Tyreek Hill.
When the Miami Dolphins announced that they would sign former Bengals cornerback Eli Apple, social media went wild as people remembered the beef between him and Tyreek Hill. The majority of them were anticipating a fight would break out as soon as Apple walked through the Dolphins facility. But that is not the case, as the old animosity seems to have disappeared.
“His locker is literally right across from mine,” Apple said, as Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk reported. “I saw him earlier today in the locker room. We’re on the same team. It’s all love.”
In 2021, the Cincinnati Bengals reached the Super Bowl final after defeating the Kansas City Chiefs. Apple then taunted Hill and his teammate, Mecole Hardman, on Twitter, offering them tickets to the Super Bowl. The banter went on for a while, but now it looks like the water is under the bridge.
