The Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill used to play with the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes for many years before he got traded. Hill recently shared the ‘other side’ of Mahomes, the side the fans don’t see a lot during the games.

In a recent interview with Ryan Clark on The Pivot, the former Chiefs receiver claimed that Patrick Mahomes is a ‘different dude’ and can significantly impact the team. He further went on to cite an example for his claim.

Tyreek Hill said

The Dolphins’ All-Pro pass catcher cited an example of how Mahomes cussed his entire receiving core when they were going through a bad streak. Hill didn’t remember which year it was, but he named some players, who played with them during that year. With that knowledge, there are speculations that Mahomes speech could’ve happened during the 2019 season, when the Chiefs were going through a slump.

This revelation has certainly astonished a lot of NFL enthusiasts. Most football fans refer to Mahomes as ‘the Baby GOAT’, partly due to his youth and also because he is not known for his rough side. However, Hill has now disclosed Mahomes won’t hesitate to call a spade a spade.

Tyreek Hill hailed Tua Tagovailoa over his 2023 campaign

In the 2023-24 season, Tua Tagovailoa was seen getting criticized for a lot of reasons. The analysts raised questions about his throwing abilities. Frustrated with this, Tagovailoa even sarcastically labeled himself the worst player in the Miami-based football team.

Amid all the criticism, the Dolphins wideout Hill has now claimed that Tagovailoa had a great campaign last year during his recent appearance on The Pivot podcast. He even said that Tagovailoa was at his best during the 2023 season. 

This year for Tua, this is, like, a build-on season. Because this is obviously the best season of his career. ... He’s going to continue to add on to his game. Because he’s got the skill set and he’s got the supporting cast to do it, with all the weapons he’s got around him... it was like, ‘Bro, I really respect this,' because he really just called out all his weapons individually.

Apart from praising, the wide receiver also shared friendly advice for his quarterback. He said that Tagovailoa should adopt a more friendly mentality like Mahomes. He should be hanging out and spending time with teammates like the 3-time Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes.
