Apart from football, one of the most exciting things about the Super Bowl is the commercials that the brands come up with during halftime. Super Bowl commercials are worth more than $6 million and are liked by many people due to their creativity. However, the Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill has now revealed that he is not a fan of the commercials.
“I just don’t like how they do the commercials in the Super Bowl,” said Hill in a recent episode of his podcast ‘It Needed To Be Said’. “The wait time, like say, for instance, in regular season you know how they do the TV breaks, it’s like quick 30 seconds. Super Bowl, It’s like 5 minutes. You’re standing on the field for so long and it’s like ‘Bro, I just want to play football, let’s get to it'”.
In 2023, brands paid approximately $7 million on average to air a 30-second-long commercial up from $6.5 million the previous year. So, the NFL is not going to give up on commercials at any stage. So, Hill better get used to it.
Tyreek Hill had the former Philadelphia Eagles QB Michael Vick as the special guest and they talked about multiple other things, including how the renowned college football head coach Nick Saban indirectly pushed him away from playing for the Alabama Crimson Tide football team.

Tyreek Hill is facing suspension due to assault allegations
The Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill, who is currently dating Keeta Vaccaro, is under investigation for allegedly punching an elderly man back in June after an altercation at a South Florida Marina according to reports.
And now, the long-time NFL reporter Mike Florio has confirmed that the NFL has also launched an investigation regarding the incident. According to reports, on Father’s Day, Hill punched a 57-year-old yacht captain, who told the Dolphins wideout to get off the boat.
The police are currently investigating the incident. Furthermore, there are also some reports suggesting that Phins wideout tried to bribe the elderly man by giving him $200 after the incident.
If Hill is found guilty of the incident, he might receive some suspension as a punishment for violating the league’s conduct policy. Besides, Florio implies that Hill’s history might result in an enhanced penalty if he gets a ban. Back in 2015, Hill pleaded guilty to assaulting his then-pregnant girlfriend.
Nonetheless, since the investigation process takes so long to complete, Hill might not face any suspension or ban in 2023, even if he was guilty of assaulting a man. That’s a worry for 2024.
