Looks like Kansas City Chiefs players and fandom are not done with their Super Bowl victory celebrations. Over the past few days, the Chiefs fans and players are leaving no chance to get into the faces of the players from opposing teams and critics. And it seems JuJu Smith-Schuster has decided to take the lead in this campaign.
On Valentine’s day, JuJu posted a not-so-sweet message on his Twitter account that set social media abuzz. He posted a meme, which featured an image of James Bradberry and a message that read, “I’ll hold you when it matters the most”. The wide receiver, who is 26 years old, wrote a caption to go along with the post, which read “Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone.” Bradberry, who had been tasked with guarding the Chiefs WR during the Super Bowl game, is currently down due to his part in Eagles loss.
While JuJu found it funny to take shots at Bradberry, the social media didn’t. The Chiefs WR’s meme post was met with harshness by a plethora of fans and players. Many users roasted JuJu back, which includes many of his fellow NFL players. The Eagles WR A.J. Brown even went out of his way to call the former Steelers player a ‘TikTok boy’ and his unnecessary attempt at trolling his teammate as ‘lame’.
After Brown’s harsh words, it seemed JuJu was humbled and responded in a mild manner to him. His tweet read, “Glad you were finally able to get all that off your chest after all these years. Good game bro ???“. While JuJu’s this response might have been on a positive note after all his antics on the day, the damage was already done and it only aggravated more trolling from the internet.

Tyreek Hill calls out JuJu Smith-Schuster for his hypocrisy
Smith-Schuster’s post was met with mixed reactions, with some fans praising his sense of humor, while others, or rather most of the chunk of Twitter users, criticized him for lacking sportsmanship.
One of the people who had a lot to say about Smith-Schuster’s post or specifically his exchange with Brown was former Chiefs player, Tyreek Hill. Hill responded to Smith-Schuster’s post by savagely roasting him. Hill posted a Tweet for Smith-Schuster with the caption, “Man played victim ?? lol I’m logging off here today.” Hill’s reply was not far from the truth.
Many fans found Hill’s response hilarious and praised him for his sense of humor, while others criticized him for being disrespectful to Smith-Schuster. Despite JuJu’s reply to Brown’s Tweet being humble, his meme was disrespectful to Bradberry, and he was simply called out for his behavior.
The incident involving Smith-Schuster highlights the ongoing tension in the NFL between good-natured banter and unsportsmanlike conduct. While many fans enjoy seeing players engage in friendly trash-talk, others feel that it detracts from the game and is ultimately disrespectful to opponents.
