“I’m sick of people bashing my QB!” Tyreek Hill launches a verbal attack on Stephen A. Smith for claiming Tua Tagovailoa isn’t ‘worthy’ of becoming the MVP

Hill claimed that if Tua passing range is not limited to only 2 or 3 yards rather most of them travel at least 20 or 30 yards before reaching him or the other receivers.

Tyreek Hill is fed up with analysts such as Stephen A. Smith undermining the performances his quarterback, Tua Tagovailoa, is showcasing week and week out.

According to the veteran sports analyst, the Miami Dolphins signal caller owes a lot of his success to the players around him.

I don't know if y'all are watching Miami enough. All of these passes aren’t for 19, 20, 30, or 40 yards. You just got Tua dipping it two yards to him [Tyreek Hill], and he's the one taking it to the house.
Smith said Tuesday on First Take.

This did not sit well with Hill, who has seen Tagovailoa grow into a fine quarterback during his time at South Beach. He has managed to overcome the horrible concussions that kept him out for most of the latter half of the 2022 season. Not only has 2023 been a complete 180, but Tua has managed to keep pace with the best in the business.

The Alabama graduate has formed a great understanding of the attack that consists of Hill, Jaylen Waddle, Raheem Mostert, and Braxton Barrios. That’s why Tyreek expressed his disappointment upon hearing someone as renowned as Stephen A. Smith take Tua for granted.

For Stephen A. Smith to go out of his way and say that Tua isn’t worthy of being the MVP, it’s crazy to me. I’m sick of people bashing my QB for no reason. He’s been doing a hell of a job this year, and people need to stop giving him crap. A lot of people don’t understand what my dawg went through just to get here, especially last year.

Tua Tagovailoa should be in the mix for the NFL MVP, according to Tyreek Hill

Hill was not having any from Stephen A. on not considering Tagovailoa as one of the MVP candidates for now. According to the 29-year-old, he has enough to convince him that his QB is definitely in the mix.

"If you watch the games and watch how we play, none of our routes are really like 2 yards. All of my receptions last week were over 30 yards. To get to where he is now; talked about as the MVP, that's the next level.
Hill further added.

Tua Tagovailoa is already close to reaching 2,000 passing yards, and the NFL season is barely halfway through. His performance against the Denver Broncos is the highlight of how good a player he can be. 4 touchdowns, more than 300 yards, and no picks are incredible stats. If it continues on the same trajectory, the 24-year-old will eventually bag his second Pro Bowl honor. Not only that, a deep run in the postseason appears to be a massive possibility.
