Tyreek Hill finally made his return to Arrowhead for the first time on Saturday night, the first time since he switched the Kansas City Chiefs for the Miami Dolphins. And he received the most Kansas welcome he could have during this time of year.

The NFL scriptwriters were working overtime while selecting games for the playoffs this year. And thanks to them, football fans are in for some juicy matchups. Hill’s return to Kansas is definitely one of the most discussed topics on any analyst’s table. And why wouldn’t it be? The All-Pro wide receiver was about to play at his old stomping ground.

During his time with the Kansas City Chiefs, Hills had played in several cold games, but nothing like he was about to walk into. Before the kickoff, the weather office announced a forecast of below-freezing temperatures and cold waves around the area.

The entire state of Missouri was covered in snow, and so was the Arrowhead. However, unlike the Buffalo Bills game, the Chiefs’ wild-card matchup against the Dolphins was given the green signal. Despite the mystery surrounding whether Tyreek Hill would even play in the game because of the recent fire at his house and a slight injury to his leg, he arrived at the stadium along with other Miami players.

Hill was wearing a white, oversized T-shirt and track pants with white Jordans. It’s not something one would wear when it’s snowing profusely outside. No wonder he said,

I’m freezing my bal*s off out here.

Football fans on social media react to Tyreek Hill’s return to Arrowhead

If the league hadn’t decided to shift the first Chiefs-Dolphins game in 2023 to Frankfurt, then Tyreek Hill would not have to “freeze his bal**.” But the fans over in Germany would have missed the chance to have a taste of what a character he is.

Nevertheless, the committee had its eye on the Hill and Chiefs reunion, and it came true. But it’s not going to stop social media from having some hilarious reactions.

The Chiefs drafted Tyreek Hill in the 5th round in 2016. He played six seasons with them, recording 479 catches for 6630 receiving yards and 67 touchdowns in 91 games, winning a Super Bowl. He is currently in his second year with Miami and caught 119 passes for 1,799 yards, scoring 13 touchdowns before the wild card game.
