“I’m gonna blindside you!” Tyreek Hill sends a subtle WARNING to Cowboys’ Micah Parsons over his ‘baby lion’ comment

Hill implied that he can take on the defensive player in a physical duel.

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill and Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons are two of the most standout performers in the NFL currently. Both are great athletes who command respect from their opponents. But when the two face off against each other, it’s a fight until one man drops.

Hill received the nickname ‘Cheetah’ because of his cat-like agility on the field. With that blistering speed, he gained 1,710 receiving yards a season ago. It was his fifth straight year going past the 1000-yard mark in a season.

Parsons, on the other hand, is one of the best in his position, if not the best. Some would even place him at the top of the food chain in terms of pass-rushers. In his first two seasons with the Cowboys, he racked up 26.5 sacks and is on course to have even better performances this time around.

A fiery wide receiver’s nemesis is a strong defender who will create hurdles every step of the way. In the first game against the Los Angeles Chargers, Tyreek Hill was in red-hot form. He completed 11 catches for 215 yards and two touchdowns. It seems the seven-time Pro Bowler was impressed by his own performance. After the game, he declared, “I just feel like nobody can guard me. Maybe I’m not a cheetah. I’m a lion, baby.”

Micah Parsons, who is an alumnus of the Penn State Nittany Lions, did not appreciate the analogy and took a not-so-subtle dig at the Phins man. “Tyreek, please never say you’re a lion again. Just stick to ‘the cheetah’, brother. You don’t want nothing to do with this lion work. At least you did say you a baby lion, but then you would be a cub, brother.”

Hill returned the favor with some words of his own. He reminded Parsons of his recent block on a Patriots offensive lineman. Unsurprisingly, he did not pull any punches.

“Micah Parsons, when we play you on December 25th on Christmas day, I have a present for you, my boy,” Hill retorted on his podcast ‘It Needed to Be Said’. “I know you’ve seen my little clip where I was blocking the ‘D-End’. I’m off-the-edge like that. So you better watch your back. Because I’m gonna blindside you.”

Tyreek Hill has a history with Micah Parsons

Tyreek Hill takes pride in his speed and tenacity on the football field. But that took a massive hit last year during the Pro Bowl skills showdown. The event was to test who was the fastest man. Rookie Micah Parsons beat the 29-year-old that day.

What makes the accomplishment even more surprising is the fact that Parsons was the heaviest of the participants. He weighed 6 feet 3 and 245 pounds, at least 20 more than his opponents in the 40-yard dash. Besides Hill, the 24-year-old beat out Cowboys teammate Trevon Diggs and Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb.

It will be a treat to see these two hungry football players go at each other on Christmas Day. However, the last time the Cowboys faced the Dolphins in 2019, the Dallas franchise steamrolled the Miami side 31-6.
