It became a hot topic of conversation when Alicia Keys performed at the Super Bowl halftime show alongside her longtime friend Usher. A disclaimer stating that his performance would include several things that might offend the audience was displayed prior to his performance.

The ‘Good Good’ singer gave Keys a backward hug during the performance, which sparked debate among the audience and led to inquiries from the audience. To the delight of the audience, Usher appeared with his ‘My Boo’ counterpart and encircled her with his arms as they sang. Additionally, viewers saw Keys laugh playfully and lean back into him.

Keys is married to Swizz Beatz. The couple have been together since 2010 and have two kids together. The Showtime producer took to Instagram and praised his wife and Usher for their performance during the Super Bowl.

“My Boo” set a record in 2004 when it spent six weeks at the top of Billboard’s Hot 100, helping Usher achieve an unprecedented 28 weeks at the top of the chart that year.
