Usher is working to get one specific person onstage for the Super Bowl 58 Halftime Show as he adds more special guests to his roster. Usher and Justin Bieber have spoken directly about possibly sharing the stage together, according to TMZ Sports.

It’s unclear from TMZ if negotiations between the two Grammy-winning singers led to a successful agreement. The Halftime Show is sponsored by Apple Music, and in a short film titled Where’s Usher?, the singer seems to be hinting that Ludacris and Lil Jon will be joining him on Sunday.

There have also been rumblings about Alicia Keys being in Las Vegas and working with Usher this week.

With his diagnosis of Ramsay Hunt syndrome in June 2022, Bieber has reduced the amount of performances he does. This uncommon neurological condition can cause facial paralysis by attacking the nerves in one ear.

The song “Somebody to Love” from Justin Bieber’s first studio album features Usher, and that’s when the two got together in 2010. The R&B icon is recognized for having mentored Bieber and aided in the early stages of his career development.

A day before the Super Bowl, the 45-year-old star’s set list has not been made public or verified, but there is a lot of conjecture on the internet. Rumor has it that Usher will be performing with a number of other artists on Sunday.

According to speculations, Alicia Keys, Ludacris, will.i.am, or Lil Jon will accompany Usher on stage. Justin Bieber is a possible surprise guest as well. A week ago, Bieber shared a performance-related Instagram photo along with a shushing emoji, sparking rumors that he might be preparing for something. It might be a Super Bowl halftime show or an upcoming tour.

These two teams will face off in the Super Bowl for the second time in four years. Although Kansas City prevailed in the previous meeting, the 49ers are the favorites to win this one. It is going to be a tasty matchup.
