“I am that last drop”: Von Miller claims that he is the difference-maker for the Buffalo Bills who will take them to the next level
Von Miller
Von Miller has had one heck of an NFL career, from his days as a Denver Bronco, the team with which he won a Super Bowl, his first, and also got the MVP award for his performance established himself as a sure-fire hall of fame player as a defensive player getting the MVP in the finals is not something that is common across the league. His defensive accolades and highlights are off the charts, his IQ, and ability to guess the move that the offense will make are something that very few defensive players in the league have.
Miller spent a couple of years in the Broncos after that Super Bowl season but he did not make the finals after. Last year, he was traded to the Los Angeles Rams where his leadership experience and locker room presence led the already solid LA Rams defense to a Super Bowl victory. Things seemed to be in place for him and Miller appeared to be happy in LA but it appears as though he wants to go around helping teams in the NFL to win Super Bowls.
“Not content riding off into the sunset”: Von Miller is not ready to retire just yet
The outside linebacker has signed a contract to go to the Buffalo Bills this season, he opted to go there as a free agent as he told the media that he “wasn’t content” to ride off “into the sunset” with the NFC West team. Why the Bills?
Because Miller feels that the team has an amazing squad in place and that the talent there is immense. “This is a special team, they’re right on the edge and I just wanted to be that last drop to overflow these guys,” Miller stated via SI.com. He feels that he is the missing piece of the puzzle that the team needs to be able to make a Super Bowl run.
A player of Miller’s caliber to this team is just the extra boost the Bills needed, however, given the fact that the NFC West is stacked, it is much harder for them to be able to cruise through the playoffs. This year, the Bills’ playoff game against the Chiefs was nothing short of a bloody battle that came down to the wire. With a talented franchise QB in Josh Allen, the teams went back and forth until Patrick Mahomes had the last laugh and won that game in OT.
