Von Miller once savagely INSULTED Chiefs TE Travis Kelce by dubbing him as fake Rob Gronkowski

Travis Kelce and Von Miller are known to be two of the most prominent and talented players. With that being said, there is no denying the fact that when two talented and immensely passionate players go against each other, things could get out of hand pretty easily. And that is exactly what happened when Kansas City Chiefs tight end Kelce taunted then-Denver Broncos pass rusher Von Miller back in 2014. As expected, Miller clapped back with a savage insult.
Back in September 2015, after defeating the Chiefs 34-21, then-Broncos linebacker Von Miller took to social media to call out Travis Kelce. “@tkelce fake Gronk heada$$,” tweeted Miller. For context, this is seemingly a clapback to Kelce’s actions a year earlier. In 2014, when the Chiefs and Broncos faced each other, Kelce made an obscene, NSFW gesture after Miller bouldered Chiefs QB Alex Smith with a late hit.
Kelce was fined a substantial amount for his gesture. While everyone thought the gesture was meant for the referee who didn’t call the late hit, the Chiefs tight end made it clear that the hand gesture was actually meant for pass rusher Von Miller and not for the referee in a now-deleted tweet, according to Bleacher Report.
Kelce might’ve deleted the tweet from his social media profile, but he couldn’t delete it from Miller’s heart. The Pro Bowl pass rusher remembered the tweet for almost a year and mocked Kelce by calling him a fake Rob Gronkowski after a Broncos victory against the Chiefs.
Travis Kelce was compared to New England Patriots legend Rob Gronkowski a lot during the early stages of his career. Even though they’re the same age, Gronkowski had a head start in the NFL compared to Kelce. Nonetheless, both tight ends have had an excellent career and will go down as two of the best players to ever play football.

Von Miller apologized to Travis Kelce for calling him a fake Rob Gronkowski
Fast forwarding seven years, the now-Buffalo Bills linebacker Von Miller apologized to the Chiefs tight end during a 2022 episode of his Bleacher Report podcast, The Voncast.
During the October 13 episode of The Voncast, Miller explained, “Over the years, bro, like, I got to know Travis Kelce, too. He’s become one of my guys. I know, at the beginning of my career, we had, like, our little online spats. I’m here to say I was wrong. Travis Kelce is in his own lane. He’s obviously a Hall of Famer. Him and Patrick Mahomes have a connection that has never been seen before here in the league.”
Both players have reached new heights in their careers. Miller and Kelce are both two-time Super Bowl champions and are still competing for the title with the Bills and the Chiefs, respectively.
