Von Miller has had a magnificent NFL career and he still has a long way to go. From his days with the Denver Broncos, the team with which he won a Super Bowl, Miller established himself as a sure-fire hall of famer because a defensive player getting the MVP in the finals is not something we see happening very often.
His defensive accolades and highlights are off the charts and his astounding ability to guess the moves that the offense will make are something that very few defensive players in the league have.
“The Bills chose me”: Von Miller
The outside linebacker signed a massive 6-year $120 Million contract with the Buffalo Bills this season. There were reports that he might go back to the Rams but in the end, Bills were able to rope him in. As it turns out, the Cowboys were also very interested in adding Miller to their roster.
However, Miller recently revealed that they weren’t paying him enough. “I told them I was ready to come to the Cowboys. I would have taken less to go to Dallas because it’s Dallas. But I wouldn’t take that much less,” Miller claimed as reported by Dan Pompeii of The Athletic.
Reportedly, the Cowboys were willing to offer a 5-year $70 Million contract to Miller but things didn’t pan out. Commenting on Bills, he said, “this place chose me. Buffalo just chose me. And it’s been trying to choose me all of these years.” Without a doubt, Von is a fantastic addition to the Bills.
He will play a major role in making life difficult for the opponents. Although there has been a discussion about the fact that Miller is already 33 and has signed a 6-year deal which might look like a bit of a stretch, Von has made it absolutely clear that for him, age is literally just a number.
He is keeping himself fit, he is following a proper routine and he is confident about putting his best foot forward for his new team.
