On Friday, Shedeur Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes suffered a brutal loss against the Washington State Cougars in their exciting college football matchup. During the entire, tensions were high between the Pac-12 rivals and the Washington State players kept taunting Sanders and the other players of the Buffaloes.

The first of many such taunts came during the first quarter of the game. Following a 15-yard rushing touchdown by the Cougars’ running back Lincoln Victor mocked Sanders by mimicking Colorado QB’s famous watch celebration. As if one time wasn’t enough, Victor did it again when the Cougars successfully converted the extra point record.

In fact, throughout the game, the Cougars players kept taunting the Buffaloes players with Shedeur Sanders’ famous celebration. Maybe the mind games worked because the Buffaloes looked like a shell of themselves as they couldn’t get anything going on both sides of the ball. Besides, Sanders, playing behind a bad offensive line, also had to be taken out of the game briefly due to an injury.

It seemed like Sanders hurt his arm in an awkward pass and wasn’t able to take the field for some drives. During that time, the second-string quarterback Ryan Staub took the field for a brief period. Later, Sanders not only returned to the game but also threw a 45-yard touchdown bomb to his favorite pass catcher, Travis Hunter.

But it was a little too late for the Buffaloes. In the end, the Colorado Buffaloes suffered a 14-56 blowout loss against their conference rivals, the Washington State Cougars on Friday. As a result, the Buffaloes fell to an ugly 4-7 record after starting the season with three consecutive victories.

Will Shedeur Sanders enter the 2024 Draft?

Shedeur Sanders is one of the top college football prospects in this year’s draft class. However, reports suggest Sanders won’t enter the 2024 NFL Draft as he is getting to ready to commit to Colorado for another year.

Just a few days ago, the Colorado Buffaloes’ head coach Deion Sanders revealed that both Shedeur and Shilo Sanders are not looking forward to entering the 2024 Draft, as they want to stay with their dad in Colorado for one more year.

But, some people don’t believe Sanders should take a risk staying in Colorado, especially since his offensive line is not that good. As of now, Shedeur hasn’t made any comments on the topic, but it seems like he will stay with his father at the University of Colorado for one more year.
